How to Start a Chat with a Contact Directly from Chatsilo

 This tutorial shows you how to quickly open a conversation with any contact using the Chatsilo browser extension — no need to manually search through facebook.com/messages.

Step 1: Open Your Chatsilo Extension

Click the Chatsilo extension icon in the top-right corner of your browser to launch it.

Step 2: Select the Relevant Tag

Inside the extension, locate and click the tag that contains the contact you want to message. Tags help organize your contacts, so choose the one where that contact is stored.

Note: If you're unsure which tag your contact is under, you can browse your tag list or use the search bar in the next step to find them directly.

Step 3: Search for Your Contact

In the search bar, type the name of the contact you want to chat with. Matching results will appear as you type.

Step 4: Open the Contact Menu

Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the contact's name. A dropdown list of options will appear.

Step 5: Start the Chat

From the dropdown menu, click Chat. Chatsilo will automatically redirect you to that contact's chat window on facebook.com/messages, where you can continue your conversation right away.
