How to Delete a Reminder in ChatSilo

Remove any reminder you no longer need directly from the ChatSilo extension in just a few clicks.

Step 1: Open the ChatSilo Extension

Launch ChatSilo from your browser toolbar.

Click the ChatSilo extension icon in the top-right corner of your browser to open the extension panel.

Note: If you don't see the ChatSilo icon, click the puzzle-piece (extensions) icon in your browser toolbar to find and pin it.

Step 2: Navigate to the Reminders Section

Open the main menu and go to your reminders list.

Click the menu icon (the three horizontal lines) inside the ChatSilo extension to open the navigation menu. Then select Reminder from the list of menu options.

Step 3: Select the Reminder to Delete

Locate the specific reminder you want to remove.

Hover over the reminder you want to delete. A trash can (delete) icon will appear on the right-hand side of that reminder. Click the trash can icon to begin the deletion.

Tip: If you have many reminders, scroll through the list carefully to make sure you're deleting the correct one — this action will ask for confirmation, but it's good to double-check first.

Step 4: Confirm the Deletion

Approve the deletion in the confirmation prompt.

A popup modal will appear asking you to confirm that you want to delete the reminder. Click the Yes Delete button to proceed.

Warning: Deleting a reminder is permanent. Once confirmed, the reminder cannot be recovered.

Step 5: Dismiss the Success Confirmation

Acknowledge the success message to close the prompt.

A second popup modal will appear confirming that the reminder has been deleted successfully. Click the Okay button to close the modal and return to your reminders list.
