How to Add Multiple Tags to a Contact on Facebook Message

This tutorial shows you how to assign more than one tag or label to a contact using ChatSilo — helping you organize your Facebook conversations more efficiently.

Step 1: Open the Tag Menu

Navigate to your conversation in facebook.com/messages. On the left side of the page, click the purple + button next to the contact you want to tag.

Note: If you don't see the tag button make sure the ChatSilo extension is active and you're logged into facebook.com/messages.

Step 2: Select Your Tags

In the popup that appears, check all the tags you want to assign to this contact. You can select as many tags as you need.

Tip: If you don't see the tag you need, create it on the fly by clicking the Add tag button at the top-right side of the popup

Step 3: Click "Update Tag"

After selecting your tags, click the Update Tag button to save your choices.

Step 4: Confirm The Tags Were Applied

Wait a few seconds for the changes to save. The contact will now display all assigned tags, which you can verify by checking the right-hand side of the facebook.com/messages page.

Note: If the tags don't appear immediately, refresh the page and check again.
