How to Add Another Facebook Account to ChatSilo

This tutorial walks you through linking an additional Facebook account to your ChatSilo extension so you can manage multiple accounts from one place.

⚠️ Before you begin: Make sure your current ChatSilo plan supports multiple Facebook account management. Check your plan details at https://chatsilo.com/pricing before proceeding.

Step 1: Log In to the Facebook Account You Want to Add

Sign in to the second Facebook account in your browser before linking it to ChatSilo.

Open a browser tab and go to facebook.com. Log in with the credentials of the Facebook account you want to add — this should be a different account from the one already connected to ChatSilo.

Step 2: Open ChatSilo and Link the New Account

Trigger the account linking process from the ChatSilo extension.

Click the ChatSilo icon in the top-right area of your browser toolbar. A screen will appear — click Link Facebook Account to begin connecting the account you just logged into.

Note: If you don't see the ChatSilo icon in your toolbar, click the puzzle-piece (Extensions) icon in your browser and pin ChatSilo for easy access.

Step 3: Open Facebook Messages to Complete the Connection

Finish linking the account by launching Facebook Messages through ChatSilo.

Once the account is linked, click the ChatSilo icon again to reopen the extension. On the next screen, click Open Facebook Messages. This completes the connection and adds the new Facebook account to your ChatSilo dashboard.

Note: ChatSilo will redirect you to facebook.com/messages to finalise the account handshake. This is expected behaviour — the process completes automatically once the page loads.

You're All Set! 🎉

You've successfully added another Facebook account to your ChatSilo licence. You can now switch between connected accounts within ChatSilo and manage all your facebook.com/messages conversations from a single extension. Repeat these steps anytime you need to add more accounts — as long as your plan supports it.
