Please, follow this guide to tag contacts from your friends listing page.

1) To tag a friend from friends listing, head over to your profile page and click on Friends tab.

Then tick the small box that appears in the front of the contact you will like to tag, see labelled 2 in the diagram below, note that you can select as many contacts as possible.

Then, select tag all as labelled in 3.

2) When you click on tag all, the tag dialog box will appear. Select the tag name for the contacts, and click the "Update Tag" button as shown in the diagram below.

3) Lastly, make sure to check if the chosen contact has been linked to the tags.Congratulations. You’ve successfully tagged this friend.
